Brooks County Busted Mugshots is a private reference site, not a government office. We cannot verify a custody status or release, release anyone, accept bond, or obtain an official booking record. Direct those questions and requests to the government office that created or holds the record.
Official Brooks County Contacts
For a county booking, custody, release, or written public-information request, begin with the Brooks County Sheriff’s Office. No separate sheriff records-unit telephone number or office hours are published. State that the request is under Texas Government Code Chapter 552 and ask whether the requested record is maintained by the sheriff, Brooks County Jail, or another agency.

Choose the Record Holder
- For a Brooks County booking, jail status, release, transfer, or a releasable booking photo, use the sheriff contact above. The Brooks County records guide explains that no public county roster or recurring booking feed was confirmed.
- For a court case after booking, search the official Brooks County eServices portal and confirm a result with the appropriate clerk. A court result does not establish current custody.
- For Falfurrias Police Department reports or city-record requests, call the police department first and ask which agency holds the booking image or which facility accepted the person. The Falfurrias Busted Mugshots page explains the city-specific routing.
- For a possible warrant, use the sheriff or clerk path described on Most Wanted Fugitives. Brooks County does not publish a confirmed public warrant portal.
- For a sentenced Texas prisoner, use the Texas Department of Criminal Justice offender search. It is separate from a recent county booking and does not provide a public photo search.
- For federal Bureau of Prisons custody, use the BOP inmate locator. For immigration custody or certain recent releases, use the ICE Online Detainee Locator. These are different custody systems from Brooks County Jail.
